Real Estate Roller Coaster Ride - Part 2
Remember that epic real estate roller coaster with my incredible clients' townhouse in Surrey? Well, hang on tight, because here's part 2 of this wild ride!
ποΈ It was Friday, August 4th, the day of subject removal for their Surrey home. My clients were gearing up for a move out of town, and guess who they trusted to guide them through this journey? Yours truly! π
π‘ I'd lined up a fantastic array of homes for us to explore that day. The plan? I'd hit the road at the crack of dawn, while my clients made their way to the first home.
π The sun was shining, the tunes were playing, and the 4.5-hour drive was an absolute breeze. We visited four amazing homes, and afterward, it was time for a debrief.
π€© But wait, there was one home that was a total showstopper, and my clients were smitten. They wanted to put in an offer, but there was a hitch: they had to wait until the subjects were removed from their current home.
β° It's now 4 pm, and my clients headed back to their Airbnb. I made a beeline to my hotel – or what I thought was a hotel! π¨
π± Can you believe what I walked into? Let's just say I opted to sleep on top of the covers that night!
Meanwhile, I was on pins and needles, waiting for the pivotal moment. The next three hours were pure torture as we awaited word on whether the buyers were removing subjects or not.
π¬ Then, at 7 pm, the moment of truth arrived. I received the subject removal form and a copy of the deposit cheque. π
π Without wasting a second, I revved up the engine and sped to the Airbnb where my clients were staying. Can you imagine the suspense building with every mile?
π₯ And then, in person, I delivered the news they'd been anxiously awaiting. Their faces lit up with joy, and I could see the relief and excitement bubbling over.
π The next morning, I was up before sunrise, eager to escape that "hotel." Three hours and 45 minutes later, I was back home, enjoying a much-needed shower and breakfast.
π½οΈ Now, it was time to craft the perfect offer for my clients. You know how I roll – every offer gets a personalized video, delivered straight to the sellers and listing agent.
β¨ And guess what? It worked like magic! Just a few hours later, my clients received an accepted offer.
π° A week later, right before removing subjects, I managed to secure them a sweet $1,600 credit at closing.
π’ What a journey! We were all over the moon that this roller-coaster ride had finally come to an exhilarating end.
